the Third International Encaustic Conference at Montserrat College of Art was everything I had dreamed it would be and more! 
Imagine three days of constant immersion in everything Encaustic and me in the middle…

I shared a spartan room on campus with Susan, the most agreeable roommate you could image and a great artist too, which I discovered on my last evening as she casually showed me her portfolio. Just hoping that I ingested a little bit of her talent while we bunked!
